Trivia Friday – Mets Players with Their Numbers Retired

The Mets may be looking to bring back Jose Reyes in the hopes of strengthening their chances of making the postseason. Yesterday, the Mets drafted a player in the first round after forfeiting their 2015 pick to sign Michael Cuddyer. The Mets did get a second first round pick because Daniel Murphy signed with the Nationals. Accordingly, the Sandy Alderson regime has now drafted six players in the first round. For the second straight year, the Mets are trying to determine who will be the everyday third basemen in David Wright‘s absence.  This is a far cry from when David Wright was first called-up in 2004.  At that time, it was assumed that Wright would be given the job and would be able to play everyday for the next 15-20 years.  Wright is now in his 13th year, and he has played in a lot of games at third base.  Can you name all the Mets that have played third base since 2004, the year Wright was called-up?  Good luck!
