This past week, the Mets opted to double down on Jason Vargas instead of signing Gio Gonzalez. They did that despite everything pointing to Vargas no longer being a good pitcher. Since the 2017 All Star Break, his ERA is over 6.00. This is a rare feat for a Mets pitcher as there are just two qualifying Mets starters with an ERA over 5.00.  Can you name them? Good luck!
